Before fi rst use
•
Unpack all parts and make sure that the product contents are complete (see "Product
contents") and check for any damages from transport. If you identify damages to the
components, do not use them (!), instead contact our customer service centre.
•
Before you use the product, remove all packaging material and any labels located on
the set and which serve to provide protection during transport or are for advertising
purposes.
•
There may be some production residue stuck to the set. Therefore boil out all acces-
sory parts with water before fi rst use and then clean them thoroughly (see chapter
"Cleaning and storage").

Tips
•
Removing stubborn residue: Food that has burned onto the pan often leaves black
stains. If soaking the pan doesn't help, proceed as follows: Fill the pan with hot water
and add a teaspoon of detergent to the pan, place the pan on the stove and boil the
water. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Let the pan cool off and remove the residue
with a sponge or a wooden or plastic spatula.

Removing burned-in residue: You can use oven cleaner to remove stains on the
bottom of the pan. Follow the instructions on the cleaner's packaging and only spray
or rub it onto the bottom of the pan. Then thoroughly rinse the pan with clean water.

Cooking and frying with the gas stove: When using the set on a gas stove, the
fl ame may only touch the bottom of the pan. Keep in mind that the set has an ex-
cellent thermal conductivity. The set could therefore quickly overheat even at low
temperatures on a gas stove. Check the food in the pan frequently and/or use a fl ame
tamer.

1. Press the handle together.
2. Then insert it over the wire reinforcement into the desig-
nated opening (see fi gure).
3. Secure the handle so that the pins extend into the support
slots and let go.
4. Now, you can use the frying basket.
1. Press one of the legs for the steam insert together.
2. Secure the leg in the bottom of the steam insert so that the
pins extend into the support slots and let go.
3. Do the same with the three other legs for the steam insert.
4. Now, you can use the steam insert.
