Risks of injury

■ The plastic foils and bags pose a suffocation hazard! Keep children and animals
away from the packaging material.
■ Burn hazard! The set gets hot during use. Therefore only hold all accessories by the
handles and/or with potholders or kitchen gloves. Keep in mind that the handles also
get hot in the oven.
■ Burn hazard! Be careful when carrying a pan with hot contents.

Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device

■ In case of fi re: Do not extinguish the fl ames with water; instead smother them with a
fi re blanket or similar!
■ Avoid overheating. If you heat up an empty pan or allow the liquid to vaporise com-
pletely, the material may overheat and be damaged and smoke may form. If this
occurs, immediately turn off the stove, take the pan off of the hob and make sure that
the room is adequately ventilated.
■ Please keep in mind that induction stoves heat faster than other stove types. Do not
leave the pans unattended when in operation.
■ Noises attributed to the electromagnetic properties of induction stoves and induction
cookware may appear. These noises are attributed to technical reasons and are no
indication of a defective stove or cookware.
■ Check the bottom of the pan for damage prior to each use! Do not use the pan if it is
damaged or if there are any scratches, grooves or irregularities on the bottom of the
pan. They could damage the hob.
■ Do not slide the pan across the hob; it may scratch in the process. The manufacturer
is not liable for damages caused by improper use!
■ Only use suitable kitchen and cooking utensils for frying and cooking such as spat-
ulas or cooking spoons. Notice: Metal kitchen utensils may be used. To ensure that
your pans and cookware last a long time, however, we recommend using wooden or
plastic kitchen utensils.
■ Do not leave the set unattended when in use.
■ Never pour cold water into the pan or on the glass lid if they are hot. The glass could
burst and the coating could rupture.
■ Do not allow the set to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
