❐ Turn the device off before inserting or removing the holder for the cutting insert or be-
fore inserting or removing the fi ll chute. Only grasp the plastic surfaces of the holder
for the cutting insert when loading or removing the holder.
❐ Store this device out of the reach of children! Children must be closely supervised if
they are nearby when the device is being used.
❐ Do not use the device if it is damaged.

Health safety notes

❐ The device may still contain production residues. To avoid health risks, clean the
device thoroughly before fi rst use (see chapter "Cleaning and storage").
❐ Do not use any spoiled food. Never store the food longer than indicated by the best
before date.
❐ Clean the device after every use to prevent the formation of germs (see chapter
"Cleaning and storage").
Risk of electric shock and fi re
❐ Do not use the device if easily fl ammable gases are present in the air.
❐ Only connect the device to a properly installed socket with protective earth contacts.
The socket must also be easily accessible after the device has been connected.
The mains voltage must correspond to the technical data of the device (see chapter
"Technical data"). Only use proper extension cords, whose technical data correspond
to those of the device.
❐ Lay the cable such that it is not crushed or creased and such that it does not come
into contact with hot surfaces.
❐ Pull the mains plug out of the socket:
– before inserting and/or removing the cutting insert holder or fi ll chute,
– if you are not using the device,
– before a storm or
– before you clean the device.
❐ If you want to remove the mains plug from the socket, never pull on the cable, but
always on the plug.
❐ Never submerge the device in water or other liquids! Ensure that the device, cord or
plug do not fall in water or are at risk of getting wet. If the device falls in water, im-
mediately disconnect the power supply. Do not attempt to pull the device out of the
water when it is connected to the power supply!
❐ If the device falls in water, immediately disconnect the power supply.
❐ Never touch the device, the cord or the plug with wet hands.
❐ Never cover the device with a cloth or the like. Danger of overheating!
❐ Maintain a suffi cient distance to heat sources, e.g. hobs or ovens.
