Notes on use

❐ Check the device for damages prior to each use. If the device, the cord or the plug
exhibit visible damages, the device may not be used. Do not use the device if it mal-
functions, has fallen down or in water.
❐ If the device, cable or mains plug are defective, do not attempt to perform any repairs
yourself. In the event of damage, contact a local qualifi ed professional or customer
service.
❐ Only use the device in enclosed areas.
❐ Always place the device on a dry, level, fi rm, and heat resistant surface and at an
adequate distance to fl ammable objects. If necessary, place a heat-resistant base
under the device.
❐ Maintain adequate distance to heat sources such as stovetops or ovens in order to
prevent damage to the device.
❐ Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping hazard. Do not allow
the cord to hang over the edge of a table or kitchen worktop. Someone could catch
him/herself and pull down the device.
❐ Do not pull or carry the device by the cord.
❐ Do not insert any objects (spoons, knives etc) in the fi ll chute or front opening of the
fi ll chute while the device is operating.
❐ The device is not suitable for continuous operation. Do not use the device continu-
ously for more than two minutes.
❐ Do not operate the device for prolonged periods without food.
❐ In the event of damages/malfunctions, immediately deactivate the device.
❐ Do not leave the device activated when unattended.
❐ Only use original spare parts provided by the manufacturer.
❐ Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
❐ Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe temperature fl uctuations
or direct sunlight.
