Intended Use

❐ This device is intended to be used to bake crêpes. It is not a frying pan.
❐ This device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
❐ This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are super-
vised or have received instruction on how to use the device safely and have understood
the dangers resulting from this. Children may not play with the device. Cleaning and user
maintenance may not be performed by children, unless they are older than 8 years of age
and are supervised.
❐ Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the device, the
mains cable and the plug.
❐ Use the device only as described in the instructions. Any other use is deemed to be im-
proper.
❐ The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer or a separate remote
control system.
Dangers of Injury
❐ Keep children and animals away from the device and packaging material.
❐ The device should not be used if it is damaged.
❐ The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children and animals. The
mains cable must also be kept out of their reach. Otherwise they might use the cable to
pull the device down on themselves.
❐ Caution: Hot surfaces! While the device is operating and for a short while after it has
been switched off, you should not touch the baking surface. Only move the device once it
has cooled down and never during use.
For Your Health
❐ The device should be cleaned before you use it for the fi rst time. It is possible that pro-
duction residues may still be adhering to the surfaces. It is essential that you follow the
instructions in the "Before Initial Use" chapter.
❐ Do not use spoilt food. Never keep food longer than the best-before date.
❐ Clean the device after each use to prevent germ formation (see the "Cleaning and Storage"
chapter).
Set-Up and Connection
❐ In order to avoid electric shocks, do not use the device near water or other liquids.
❐ Use the device only in enclosed spaces.
❐ Do not use the device if highly fl ammable gases are present in the air.
❐ Always place the device on a dry, level, fi rm and heat-resistant surface and at a suffi cient
distance from fl ammable objects.
