All safety notices are marked with this symbol. Please carefully read through
and obey the safety notices in order to avoid injury to persons and damage to
property.

Proper use
❐ The product is intended for milling spices.
❐ The product is designed for private use, not for commercial use. Only use the pro-
duct as described in these instructions. Any other use is deemed improper.
❐ Do not fi ll the product with any liquids.
❐ Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts at repair are excluded
from the warranty. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

Risks of injury
❐ This product may be used by children ages 8 and over as well as persons with im-
paired physical, sensory or mental capacities or those lacking experience and/or
knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in how to safely use the
product and have understood the risks associated with operating the product. Child-
ren may not play with the product. Children may not perform cleaning and user main-
tenance of the product unless they are 8 years of age or older and are supervised.
❐ Batteries may be life threatening if swallowed. Therefore keep batteries and the
product out of the reach of small children. If a battery has been swallowed, you must
seek immediate medical attention.
❐ Keep children and animals away from the packaging. Danger of suffocation exists!
For your health
❐ There may be production residues stuck to the product. To avoid health risks, clean
it thoroughly before fi rst use (see chapter "Cleaning and storage").
Handling the batteries properly
❐ Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in the product and on the
battery are clean and if necessary, clean them.
❐ Only use the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
