MODELS SV, SH, PV, PH
The filter is located at the bottom of the unit. Use a tool to release the retaining spring following
this procedure: with the edge of the tool (see Enclosure 4, Fig. 3-1) lever on the filter frame
pushing it backwards (see Enclosure 4, Fig. 3-2), until the frontal part is released from retainers
(see Enclosure 4, Fig. 3-3). To replace the filter, push on the back spring and invert the procedures
above.
MODELS SV/AF, SH/AF, PV/AF, PH/AF, SVR
The filter is located beneath the frontal air intake panel. After loosening the fixing screws of the
frontal panel, take it away. Rotate the retainers and take the filter away.
MODELS CV, CH, CV/AF, CH/AF, CVR
In CONCEALED models, when the unit is accessible, simply rotate the retainers and withdraw
the filter. When installing the filter, follow the same procedures described above, taking care to
replace it in the correct position.
Do not replace the filter on the unit until it is perfectly dry.
The plastic parts of the unit must be cleaned only with warm water and
neutral soap.
7.1.2 ADJUSTING THE GRILLES
In SV, SV/AF, SH, SH/AF, PV, PV/AF, PH, PH/AF and SVR models, the grilles located on the air
outlet can be turned in to all 4 directions, by simply lifting the access door on the left-hand side
of the housing, sliding the grilles and removing them. When removing a grille, pay attention not
to break the little feet underneath. The grilles can then be replaced in the desired position.
7.1.3 CLEANING THE COIL
Every year, verify that the fin pack is not clogged from dust or anything else that does not allow
the normal air flow; if necessary, use a jet of compressed air to clean the heat exchanger. To
prevent damage to the fins or the pipes on the heat exchanger, never use steel tools or sharp
objects to clean the spaces between the fins.
