1. OPERATIONAL LIMITS
• The appliance can be used by children no younger than 8 years
old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, as long
as they are supervised or after they have received instruction
concerning safe use of the appliance and understanding the
hazards related to it.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the unit.
• For installations without a thermostat or room temperature lim-
iting device, it is prohibited to use the fancoil in small rooms
occupied by people unable to leave the room by themselves,
unless they are not under constant surveillance.
• Since your fancoil unit is equipped with a water-fed heat ex-
changer, be sure that ambient temperature does not fall below
0 °C, which could cause the formation of ice in the exchanger
pipes with consequent risks of frost damage.
• If ambient temperature may fall below 0 °C, drain the coil when
the unit is not being used (s. Encl. 4 - Fig. 2).
