It is advisable to keep the unit in the carton box prior to installation, to protect it
from damages. The plastic bags can be used to protect the inner frame from the
moment it is installed until the mounting of the casing.

6.3 REMOVING THE CASING

In order to carry out the installation or the maintenance of the fan coil it is necessary to

remove the casing. Remove the grilles by lifting the access door on the left-hand side of the
housing, sliding the grilles and removing them; when removing a grille, pay attention not to
break the little feet underneath. At the same way, remove all the other grilles.

MODELS SV, SH, PV, PH
After having removed the grilles, remove the four fixing screws at the top of the unit (Fig.

4). Rotate slightly the casing in order to free it from the lower retainers (Fig. 4a) and move
the casing away.

MODELS SV/AF, SH/AF, PV/AF, PH/AF, SVR
After removing the grilles, remove the four fixing screws at the top of the unit (Fig. 4).
Loosen the fixing screws on the frontal air intake panel and take it away, then remove the

fixing screws at the bottom of the casing (Fig. 4b). Take the casing away horizontally by
rotating it slightly.

The casing has to be reinstalled before powering the unit. Repeat the above
mentioned operations in the opposite.
