The device owner is also obliged to
• provide suitable safety equipment such as hand-held fire extinguishers in the required quantity
and of suitable size and type at easily accessible locations near the device;
• protect the TOPITEC
statutory requirements (in Germany: Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health);
• provide adequate lighting at the workplaces (conforming to ASR A3.4);
• ensure that the ventilation system at the workplaces remains switched on outside working
hours to maintain a minimum air flow at all times (elimination of germs);
• regularly inspect the working area to ensure that tripping hazards are eliminated or suitably marked.

Lighting:
The device owner must provide adequate and uniform lighting of the
prescribed illumination rating in the area of the TOPITEC

The TOPITEC

AUTOMATIC does not produce noise at a damaging sound pres-
sure level (for limits, see German Noise and Vibration Protection Ordinance
LärmVibrArbSchV). Sound level > 85 / 80 dB
Warning
At least one safety training session per year (and also upon appointment of a
new employee), covering all risks and safety measures, must be provided for all
staff members, based on this operating manual and in a language that is easily
understood by staff. Completion of the training must be confirmed by signature.
