DCS 400 RACK EINSCHUB
Das DCS 400 ist ein 19"-Gerät mit 2 HE. Es
dient zur Aufnahme eines Kontrollmoduls so-
wie verschiedener Relaismodule, Logik Ein-
gangsmodule und Analog Ein- / Ausgangsmo-
dule, die über die interne Backplane verbun-
den sind.
• 10 Steckplätze zur Aufnahme beliebiger
DCS 4XXR Module.
• 4-polige Steck-Schraubklemme für Strom-
versorgung, +24V und Minus.
• 2 frontseitige LED's zur Anzeige von Power
und Active.
• Interne Backplane mit Systembus.
• Interne selbstrückstellende Sicherungen für
Plus und Minus.
Installationshinweis
Bei der Bestückung des DCS 400 Rack Ein-
schubs ist folgendes zu beachten:
• Ein DCS 401R Kontrollmodul ist immer in
Slot 1(Steckplatz ganz links) zu bestücken.
• Die Slots 1-10 sind immer in aufsteigender
Reihenfolge (links nach rechts) ohne Lücken
zu bestücken.
Bei der Montage des Gerätes und der Installa-
tion der Anschlüsse ist darauf zu achten, dass
die Anforderungen der VDE 0100 und
EN 60065 eingehalten werden.

DCS 400 19" RACK FRAME
The DCS 400 is a 19" base unit with a height
of 2 HU. It can host a control module as well
as several relay modules, logic input modules,
and analog I/O modules that are connected via
internal backplane.
• 10 slots for the insertion of DCS 4XXR mod-
ules.
• 4-pole plug-binding post for power supply,
+24V and negative pole.
• 2 LED's on the front indicating power pres-
ence and active.
• Internal backplane with system bus.
• Internal self-resetting fuses for the positive
and negative poles.
When equipping the DCS 400 rack frame
make sure to mind the following:
• Always insert a DCS401R control module in
slot 1(the slot all the way on the left).
• Always equip the slots 1-10 in ascending
order (from the left to the right) leaving no
empty slots in-between.
Mounting the unit and establishing the connec-
tions is solely admissible when performed in
accordance to VDE 0100 and EN 60065 regu-
lations.
