6.2 Locking functions

On the CareBoard , locked functions are displayed with a yellow highlighted lock symbol; the

locked functions cannot be carried out with the handset anymore. In the position menu, an
additional lock symbol is displayed above the locked functions. If someone still tries to use a
locked function, the CareBoard
Besides single functions, you can also lock all functions simultaneously for operation via hand-
set. No functions can be used via the handset, until they are unlocked on the CareBoard

If single functions are locked, combined functions like comfort seating or auto con-
tour are carried out. The locked power units are not operated. Normally, this does
not lead to the desired position. However, the functions of the acute care package
are carried out without taking possible lockings into consideration.
If the bed is not equipped with a handset, the latter is not displayed in the overview
on the screen.
