The specified use is the intended use. Its sole source for the operator or user is the labeling
and the instructions for use. The digital nursing bed sentida 7-i may only be used in full accor-
dance with the instructions for use.
The bed can be moved and therefore the easy positioning within the room ensures easy cle-
aning of the digital nursing bed and the space underneath. It is, however, not suitable for the
transport of residents and patients (only sentida 7-i | cozy ).
Please note that the system is not designed to be used as an emergency call or a lifesaving call
for help. It is rather a product that helps to facilitate the daily work in a nursing home.

2.4 General safety notes

The digital nursing bed sentida 7-i was designed in accordance with state-of-the-art technolo-
gy and the approved safety regulations. Nevertheless, its use can endanger the life or health
of the user or third parties and have adverse effects on the digital nursing bed sentida 7-i and
other material assets.
Only use the digital nursing bed sentida 7-i when it is in perfect working order. Only use it in
compliance with its intended use, safely and aware of dangers and in accordance with these
instructions for use! Malfunctions that may affect safety must be eliminated immediately in
particular!
Always keep these instructions for use ready to hand at the digital nursing bed´s operating pla-
ce. In addition to the instructions for use, please observe the generally applicable standards
and commonly accepted regulations on accident prevention and environmental protection!
Without permission of the manufacturer, do not make any changes or conversions to the digi-
tal nursing bed sentida 7-i. Spare parts have to comply with the manufacturer's requirements.
For original spare parts, this is always guaranteed.
Adhere to the prescribed checks and tests! Make sure that operating and auxiliary materials
and replacement parts are recycled safely and in an environment-friendly manner.
Before operating the bed, ensure the functional safety and the proper condition of the bed.
Always leave the castors braked; this avoids the risk of falls for the patient/resident when
getting in or out of the bed.
Adjust the height of the patient surface to the size of the patient to avoid the risk of falls.
If incontinent patients occupy the bed, incontinence protection must be used for the mattress.
