Caution!
The comfort resident handset is sensitive to mechanical forces and liquids. Avoid
that the handset falls to the ground or gets overloaded. Avoid the penetration of
liquids into the handset. Clean the handset with cleaning cloths for computer key-
boards. Regularly check the handset and the cables for signs of damage. Defective
handsets have to be replaced immediately.
The use of the handset by the resident/patient himself lies exclusively at the di-
scretion and responsibility of the medical supervisor and nursing staff in charge.
Corresponding measures should be noted in the shift report or in the nursing do-
cumentation to guar-antee a correct shift handover and traceability of usage rights.
