8.1 Standard fold
Push folding scheme buttons (3-8) to set a new type of fold
while the machine is not in operation.
Example:
Push button (4) to process a „Z" fold; the respective
luminous diode comes up. The display shows:

Set paper stop (25) flush to trailing sheet edge, then hit the
„ENTER" key (21).
Both the buckle plate stops and the arresting rollers are set
automatically in position for the processing of a „Z" fold with
the loaded paper format. During the automatic setting
procedure the display shows „
As soon as the positions are set, the display comes back
to the counter indication and the luminous diode keeps
coming up. The machine is now ready for production.
Start the machine by pushing the „START/STOP" button
(1). Then activate the 2-stage compressor by pushing
button (2). Call in the first couple of sheets by pushing
button (2) anew. Check the sheets and, if necessary, set
right the length with the keys (14, 15) or with the knurled
screw on the buckle plate stop.
Store the completely set folding process by pushing the
„MEM" memory buttons (9-12)!
Another type of fold can be set at any time by pushing the
folding scheme buttons (3-8) first, and then the ENTER
button (21).
Fold type (5) requires a minimum sheet length of 21
cm
Fold type (7) can only be folded with overlapping
flaps
Fold type (8) requires a minimum sheet length of 33
cm .
In case the wrong folding scheme has been selected, push
the „RESET" button (24) instead of the „ENTER" button
(21) to go back to the counter display. It is also possible to
directly push the button for the desired folding scheme and
then the „ENTER" button (21).
Each time the machine is reprogrammed, the ma-
chine speed is set to approx. 50%!

Para ajustar un nuevo plegado debe pulsarse una tecla de
tipo de plegado (3-8) con la máquina parada.
Ejemplo:
Para un plegado en „Z" se pulsa la tecla (4); el diodo

Cuando se han alcanzado las posiciones, el display visua-
liza de nuevo la indicación del contador y el diodo luminoso
se ilumina fijo. Ahora, la máquina ya está preparada para
la producción.
En primer lugar, arrancar la máquina utilizando la tecla
START/STOP (1). A continuación, conectar el compresor
con la tecla (2). Llamar la primera hoja pulsando de nuevo
la tecla (2). Controlar la hoja y, si procede, efectuar una
corrección de la longitud con la tecla (14, 15) o utilizando
el tornillo moleteado del tope de la bolsa.
Una operación de plegado ajustada y lista debe memori-
zarse utilizando las teclas de memoria MEM (9-12) (véase
el Capítulo 8.2).
Puede ajustarse un nuevo plegado en cualquier momento
pulsando una tecla de tipo de plegado (3-8) y después la
tecla ENTER (21).
En el caso de que se haya seleccionade un tipo de plegado
incorrecto, en lugar de la tecla ENTER (21) puede pulsarse
la tecla RESET (24) para cambiar de nuevo a la indicación
del contador. También puede pulsarse directamente la
tecla de tipo de plegado deseada y seguidamente la tecla
ENTER (21).

El tipo de pliego (5) requiere que los pliegues
tengan una longitud mínima de 21 cm.
El tipo de pliego (7) solamente puede ser plegado
con las tapas solapadas.
El tipo de pliego (8) requiere que los pliegues
tengan una longitud mínima de 33 cm.
Después de cada nuevo ajuste de la máquina, la
velocidad de la misma debe ajustarse a un 50%
aprox!
