Absolute tapes

Absolute tapes consist of multiple tracks. One of these is
the incremental track.
With PRC tapes an additional PRC track (see
section 3.5.1) is applied to the tape.
With nonius tapes (see section 3.5.2) there may be up to
two additional tracks on the tape.
The coding of sensor head and tape must be compatible.

PRC coding E and L

These tapes consist of an incremental track with a pole
width of 2 mm and a PRC track with a pole width of 2 mm
(E coding) or 4 mm (L coding).

NON coding A, C and F
This tape consists of an incremental track with a pole
width of 1 mm and two tracks with a somewhat greater
pole width (nonius).
Three different lengths each with their own coding are
available.
