Cleaning the Motor Exhaust Air Filter
6. Once all the parts have dried, insert the motor exhaust air fi lter (D) back into the fi lter
compartment (3).
7. Insert the fi lter compartment (3) into the wheel. When you do this, make sure that the
locking lugs sit in the recesses which are provided for them.
8. Twist the fi lter compartment (3) clockwise to secure it in place. It must engage audibly.

4. Place the locking lugs on the front edge of the upper part of the housing into the re-
cesses which are provided for them on the bottom part of the housing and push the
housing together.
5. Twist the ring clockwise to close it.

Storage

For practical storage purposes, the fl oor nozzle can be hooked into the holder (12) on
the back of the device and the telescopic tube (5) can be collapsed as far as possible.
Store the device in a dry, clean place that is protected from sunlight and is not
accessible to children and animals.

1. Reach into the recesses on the fi lter compartment (3) and
twist it anticlockwise.
2. Remove the fi lter compartment cover and take out the mo-
tor exhaust air fi lter (D).
3. Tap out the motor exhaust air fi lter (D) over a dustbin and
brush off loose dirt.
4. Wipe out the fi lter compartment (3) with a damp cloth.
5. If necessary, thoroughly rinse the motor exhaust air fi l-
ter (D) using clear, lukewarm water.
CAUTION: Do not under any circumstances clean the
motor exhaust air fi lter (D) in a washing machine or dish-
washer! Under no circumstances should you dry it in a
tumble-dryer. Shake off excess water and let the motor
exhaust air fi lter (D) dry completely in the air.
1. Open the turbo nozzle to make it easy to clean: Untwist
the ring on the end piece of the nozzle.
2. Carefully remove the upper part of the housing. Hair, dust
etc. can now be removed from the brush.
3. Put the nozzle back together after cleaning. When you do
this, make sure that the wheel fi ts correctly in the recess
and the strap fi ts on the cogwheel.
