Inserting / Removing the Telescopic Tube
Adjusting the Length of the Telescopic Tube
Attaching / Removing Suction Nozzles
• Attaching: Plug the free end of the telescopic tube (5) as far as it will go into the noz-
zle you want. Twist the nozzle back and forth slightly as you do this.
• For greater fl exibility, the nozzles can also be plugged directly onto the suction
hose (9).
• Removing: Simply pull off the nozzle you have used.
Inserting / Removing the Dust Container
• Removing: Press the release button (10) of the dust container (2) and pull it out of the
device by the carrying handle.
• Inserting: Grip the dust container (2) by the carrying handle and fi rst place the bottom
of the container into the device. Then press the carrying handle against the device
housing until the dust container (2) audibly engages in the locking catch. Lift up the
device by the carrying handle to check whether the dust container (2) is in the correct
position.

Operation

CAUTION!
■ Danger of injury! Keep animals, hair, jewellery, wide clothing, fi ngers and all other
body parts away from the nozzles of the device. They could become stuck to the
device. If the vacuum cleaner does become stuck, switch the device off immediately
( press the On / Off switch).
■ Switch on the device only when it is ensured that all the parts have been fully assem-
bled and that the dust container and all fi lters are correctly inserted.

• Inserting: Plug the open end of the handle (8) into the
matching opening of the telescopic tube (5). Twist the han-
dle (8) back and forth slightly as you do this. Then check
that it fi ts securely.
• Removing: Simply pull the telescopic tube (5) away from
the handle (8).
• Push the slider on the telescopic tube (5) downwards and
pull the telescopic tube (5) out to the length you want.
• Release the slider and move the telescopic tube (5) a little
bit more until it engages.
