Before Initial Use

CAUTION!
■ Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and ani-
mals.
• Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items Sup-
plied and Device Overview" chapter) and possible transport damage. If you fi nd any
damage to the components, do not use them (!), but contact our customer service
department.
• Remove possible slips of paper, stickers etc. from the dust container and from the
device.

Assembly

CAUTION!
■ Before you attach or detach any accessories, ensure that the device is not connected
to the mains power.
Inserting / Removing the Hose
• Inserting: Plug the connection piece (6) into the suction intake opening on the device.
When you do this, make sure that the two locking lugs sit in the recesses which are
provided for them. The connection piece (6) must be heard to lock in place.
• Removing: Press together the catches on the connection piece (6) and pull out the
suction hose (9).
The turbo nozzle allows you to easily remove animal hairs and
similar soiling as well as to clean mattresses, beds, blankets and
carpets.
The hard fl oor nozzle is suitable for smooth surfaces such
as wooden fl oors and tiles.
