Cleaning the Dust Container, Air Filter, Dust Filter and Micro-Dust Filter
1. Press the release button (10) of the dust container (2) and pull it out of the device by
the carrying handle.
2. The fi lters are located inside the dust container (2). To remove them, lift up the tab on
the handle and open the dust container lid (1).

4. Close the dust container lid (1) again and hold it fi rmly with one hand on the carrying
handle and the other hand on the dust container (2). Twist the dust container lid (1)
anticlockwise to remove the air fi lter (C) from the dust container (2).
5. NOTE: There are markings on the dust container lid (1) and dust container (2) which
make it easier to remove and put back on. The dust container lid (1) can be removed
when the marking on the dust container lid (1) points to the open lock symbol on the
dust container (2).
6. Thoroughly rinse the dust container (2) and the air fi lter (C) with clear, lukewarm
water if necessary. CAUTION: Do not under any circumstances clean the air fi lter
(C) and the dust container (2) in a washing machine or dishwasher! Shake off excess
water and let the air fi lter (C) and the dust container (2) dry completely in the air.
7. Once all the parts have dried, insert the air fi lter (C) back into the dust container (2).
Twist the dust container lid (1) clockwise to secure it to the dust container (2) so that
the arrow marked on the dust container lid (1) points to the closed lock symbol on the
dust container (2).
8. Open the dust container lid (1) and place the dust fi lter (B) and the micro-dust fi lter
(A) into or onto the air fi lter (C).
9. Close the dust container lid (1) again.
10. Insert the dust container (2) into the device. Grip the carrying handle and fi rst place
the bottom of the container into the device. Then press the carrying handle against
the device housing until the dust container (2) audibly engages in the locking catch.
Lift up the device by the carrying handle to check whether the dust container (2) is in
the correct position.

3. Take out the micro-dust fi lter (A) and
the dust fi lter (B), tap them out or brush
them out with a soft brush to remove
dirt and dust. Thoroughly rinse the mi-
cro-dust fi lter (A) and the dust fi lter (B)

with clear, lukewarm water if necessary.
CAUTION: Do not under any circum-
stances clean the micro-dust fi lter (A)
and the dust fi lter (B) in a washing
machine or dishwasher! Under no cir-
cumstances should you dry them in a
tumble-dryer. Shake off excess water
and let the micro-dust fi lter (A) and the
dust fi lter (B) dry completely in the air.
