Cleaning the Filter

1. Detach the dust container from the motor unit (see the "Attaching and Detaching
Accessories" chapter, "Removing and Inserting the Dust Container" section).
2. Empty the dust container (see above).
3. Turn the lid of the dust container anticlockwise and remove it.

9. You can wipe down the parts of the cyclone fi lter and the dust container with a damp
cloth.
10. If necessary, thoroughly rinse the foam fi lter and the fi lter holder with clear, luke-
warm water. CAUTION: Do not use any cleaning agent! Never wash in the dish-
washer or in the washing machine!
Then shake off any excess water and allow the fi lter and fi lter holder to dry comple-
tely in the air before reinserting them.
11. Once all parts are dry, fi rst assemble the cyclone fi lter. There are arrows marked on
both parts of the cyclone fi lter. Assemble the parts so that both arrows point towards
one another and then twist them fi rmly together.
12. Place the dry foam fi lter into the fi lter holder and then place this onto the cyclone
fi lter. CAUTION: Under no circumstances should you assemble parts of the
device that are still damp!
Cleaning the Motor Unit, Nozzles and Telescopic Tube
If necessary, clean the motor unit, nozzles and the telescopic tube using a slightly
damp, soft cloth. Dry them with a soft cloth.
Remove hair and fl uff from the nozzles at regular intervals.
Storage
Store the device in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children and animals.
4. Carefully remove the cyclone fi lter (E) from the dust con-

tainer.

5. Remove the foam fi lter holder (F) from the cyclone fi lter.
6. Remove the foam fi lter (G) from the fi lter holder.
Please note: The thin fabric fi lter is fi rmly attached to the
fi lter holder and cannot be taken out of the holder!
7. The cyclone fi lter can be taken apart to make it easier
to clean: Twist the inner cyclone insert a little in order to
release it, and then remove it.
8. Tap out all the parts over a dustbin and brush off the loose
dirt.
13. Place the cyclone fi lter into the dust container. Make sure
that it is correctly recessed and can no longer be rotated.
14. Place the lid onto the dust container and twist it shut.
15. Attach the dust container to the motor unit.
