Login on welcome page

Two user profiles are defined. They have specific privileges:
Profile Corresponding privileges
USER The profile «User» allows to:
– View (only) the OTU-8000 configuration
– See the links
– Display alarms
– Perform a test or a measurement.
– Modify its own login and parameters of the session
INSTALL The profile «Install» allows to:
– Do everything that the profile «User» can do
– Modify the OTU-8000 configuration (in local mode only)
– See the OTU-8000 logs
– See connected users and disconnect them if necessary
The OTU-8000 web interface does not require a login and a password:
the login is used as a password. Therefore, each login should be kept
private and anonymous (no logical name).
The login does not appear clearly on the screen (one black circle
replaces each character). Users should change this login regularly.
NOTE
Depending on the web browser you are using, the login may be case
sensitive. If you don't succeed to login, try again with respect of
uppercase letters.
By default, two users (login) are predefined on the OTU-8000 at
delivery time, for installation purpose. These login correspond directly
to their associated profiles:

Once the installation is completed, all default login can be changed (see
"Login change" on page
On the Welcome to OTU-8000 page:
1 Enter your login
2 Select the language you wish to use, in the list
3 If necessary, notch Break user log to use the same log-in as
another user, at the same time.
4 Click on Submit.
