Changing OTDR plug-in(s)

Configuring the OSX8000

This tab shows the list of SMS recipients and if this option is enabled.
These information are provided by ONMSi server. They cannot be
modified by the user.
This tab has to be used to test the e-mail and sms. The phone number
of the sms recipients can be modified to test locally these functions.
1 Switch off the OTU-8000
2 Replace the OTDR Module
3 Login to the OTU-8000
4 In the Configuration menu, click on the
5 The page displays the new OTDR type and serial number.Confirm
the change by clicking on the button
OK to match the registered configuration with the detected one.
On the configuration menu, click on the OSX Setup tab. The following
page displays

The OSX8000 can be configured differently:
– either all the OSX8000 are in cascade mode
– or one OSX8000 is set as distributor and the other are in cascade.

1 Connect all the OSX8000 that can be connected to the OTU before
performing the configuration.
