If the desalter does not work, the tank can be manually filled by the operator as follows:
1. Turn the autoclave on.
2. Disconnect the safety bleeder F (Picture A - § 7.)
3. Connect the funnelled pipe in the fittings provided with the F-joint (Photo A - § 7)
4. Pour distilled water in through the funnel (check for tank capacity § 3) until the MAX Led lights up.

The tank is drained at the time of maintenance operations.
To discharge the tank, proceed as follows:
•
Connect the supplied pipe to the discharge tap (Photo A - § 7).
•
Unscrew the discharge tap in counter clockwise direction.
•
Discharge waste water.
•
Re-tighten discharge tap without forcing it and check it is properly closed.
