17 USE PROTECTIVE GLOVES TO REMOVE THE LOAD FROM THE STERILISATION CHAMBER.
18 KEEP AWAY FROM THE FRONT OF THE DOOR WHEN OPENING IT, TO AVOID POSSIBLE
BURNS FROM STEAM.
19 When opening the door it is normal to find residual water inside the door seal.
20 If the sterilisation chamber is not opened at the end of the sterilisation cycle, the steam inside tends to
condense on the door. This condensation drips out on opening.
21 Remove the instruments from the autoclave.
WARNING: If the there is still a vacuum in the chamber at the end of the cycle the door cannot be
opened. Press DOOR and TECHNICAL at the same time (first pressing DOOR then TECHNICAL). A
solenoid valve to allow air into the chamber. This fault is usually caused by the bacteriological filter
getting clogged up (see PAR.15).
