■ Remove the control piston [10-5].
Mount control piston
■ Insert the control piston [10-5] in the correct position.
■ Insert the paint needle [10-4].
■ Position both springs [10-3], [10-2].
■ Screw on the cap [10-1].
■ Adjust the material flow if necessary (see chapter 10.2).

12. Care and storage

Careful handling together with constant care of the product is necessary
to ensure that the automatic gun functions properly.
Store the automatic gun in a dry place.
Warning!
Risk of injuries from components coming loose or leaking
material
If assembly work is performed while the gun is still connected to the
compressed air circuit and material supply, components can unexpect-
edly work loose and material can leak.
→ Disconnect the automatic gun from the compressed air circuit and the
material supply before any installation work.
→ Depressurise the system.
Attention!
Damage from wrong cleaning agents
The use of aggressive cleaning agents can damage the automatic gun.
→ Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
→ Use a neutral cleaning solution with a pH of 6–8.
→ Do not use acids, caustic solutions, bases, paint strippers, unsuitable
regenerates or other aggressive cleaning agents.
Attention!
Damage from incorrect cleaning tool
Incorrect cleaning tools can damage the holes and impair the spray fan
pattern.
→ Only use the SATA cleaning brushes.
→ Never use ultrasonic cleaners.
