2. Safety Instructions

Always read and heed all instructions given below. Failure to comply or
incorrect compliance can result in malfunctions or cause injuries.
2.1. Requirements regarding personnel
The automatic gun may only be used by experienced skilled workers and
instructed persons who have thoroughly read and understood these oper-
ating instructions. People whose reactions have been adversely affected
by drugs, alcohol, medication or by any other means are prohibited from
handling the automatic gun.
2.2. Personal Protection Equipment
Always use approved breathing, hearing and eye protection, suitable
protective gloves, workwear and safety boots when using the automatic
gun and during cleaning and maintenance work. The noise level during
production can exceed 85 dB(A).
2.3. Use in explosive atmospheres
The automatic gun is approved for use storage in explosive atmospheres
of ex-zone 1 and 2.The product labelling must be adhered to.
2.4. Safety Instructions
Technical status
■ Never start using the automatic gun when damaged or when parts are
missing.
■ If the automatic gun is damaged, stop working with it immediately,
disconnect it from the compressed air supply system and vent the unit
completely.
■ Never make any unauthorised modifications or technical changes to the
automatic gun.
■ Every time before using the automatic gun, check the unit with all
connected components for any signs of damage and ensure it is fitted
firmly; carry out any necessary repairs.
