Operating instructions
■ Push the material filter housing [12-4] down.
■ Take the material strainer [12-2] out of the material filter housing.
■ Clean the material filter housing.
Fit new material strainer (long)
■ Insert a new material strainer [12-2] in the material filter housing [12-4],
heeding the installation direction.
■ Push the material filter housing up.
■ Screw the material filter housing using the union nut [12-3] onto the
threaded part [12-5] and screw handtight with the SATA universal
spanner.

11. Care and storage

Careful handling, together with constant maintenance and care of the
product, is necessary to ensure the functioning of a spray gun.
■ Store the spray gun in a dry place.
■ Clean the spray gun thoroughly every time after it has been used and
every time before changing the material.
■ After cleaning, dry the complete spray gun with clean compressed air
and grease moving parts with SATA high performance grease (Art. No.
48173).
Warning!
Risk of injuries from components coming loose or leaking
material.
If cleaning work is performed while the gun is still connected to the com-
pressed air circuit and material supply, components can unexpectedly
work loose and material can leak.
→ Disconnect the spray gun from the compressed air circuit and the
material supply before any cleaning work.
