Teaching in radio sensor on EnOcean
extension module
When using a PP 45 EO extension module,
the teach-in / complete teaching mode must
be activated using the commissioning soft-
ware or when in service mode.
For detailed information PP 45 installation

7.8 Deleting transmitters
1. Remove front cover [1] on the master unit.
2. Then activate teach-in mode. The 3 LEDs
flash.
3. Briefly press the LEARN key [16] twice.
The 3 LEDs flash briefly twice and then
go out (periodic process).
4. Press the LEARN key [16] (> 2 seconds)
until the 3 LEDs on the master light up for
an extended period once and then go out.
All taught-in transmitters are deleted. The
master is again in its initial state.
5. Fit front cover [1] on the master unit such
that it locks into the safety catches.
Before putting on the front cover, the
i
shutter must always be open. To do
this, briefly switch on the RC unit.
6. Make sure that the transmitters are deleted.
7.9 Setting the ventilation unit as a
signal amplifier (repeater)
The radio electronics in the ventilation unit
can also be used as a signal amplifier. In this
case, the unit that is set up this way works
additionally as a signal amplifier. EnOcean tel-
egrams are received and forwarded in parallel
to the running application.
This can be necessary for example, with
applications in single-family houses that are
completely automated with EnOcean products.

8 USB port
The USB port is used to connect a notebook
with the room air control.
In conjunction with the commissioning soft-
ware ( Internet), settings on ventilation units
can be undertaken.
9 ModBus connection
The ventilation system can also be integrated
into the building control technology.
Your specialist installer can configure the RS
485 interface of the
control as a ModBus interface for this purpose.
The interface is set in service mode or using
the commissioning software.
When using the RS-485 interface as
i
the ModBus interface, no other com-
ponents (sensors, power units, room
air controls etc.) can be connected to
this interface.
