1 System components

2 Operation

2.1 Operating mode/functions

Operation with heat recovery WRG).
LED-based display on the RLS 45 O/K
control, for RC units with LED [17]
(orange). Units switch between venti-
lation and air extraction in a 60-second
cycle. With unit pairs, rooms are venti-
lated and air extracted at the same time.
Cross-ventilation without heat recovery
(e.g. summer operation). LED-based
display on the RLS 45 O/K control, for
RC units with LED [17] (blue). Ventila-
tion units run with fixed direction of air
flow in ventilation or air extraction mode.
Demand-driven operation: Automatic
operation to dehumidify the air or to
raise the room air quality to a certain
value limit. Function only available with
integrated/connected sensor. In WRG
or cross operating mode function is
switched on manually. Also applies
to RC units.
Intermittent ventilation with ventila-
tion level 5, only with
DS 45 RC intermittent ventilation pos-
sible in every operating mode. Press
key for 2 seconds – the
slowly. On RC units, the current ope-
rating mode LED [17] flashes twice,
5 times. Operating time of 30 minutes.
The ventilation unit then switches back
to the ventilation level previously used.
Abort: Press a key.
Sleep mode with ventilation level 0,
RLS 45 K
only with
Sleep mode is possible in any opera-
ting mode. Press key for 2 seconds –
the LED flashes slowly. On RC units,
all 3 LEDs light up and then go out one
after another. Operating time of 60 mi-
nutes. The ventilation unit then switches
back to the ventilation level previously
used. Abort: Press a key.
