10 Filter changes, unit cleaning

Danger from electric shock.
Before changing the filter, shut down all
supply circuits, switch off mains fuse, secure
against being accidentally switched back on
and position a visible warning sign.
WARNING

Danger of injury when working at heights
and from falling drawer unit (3 kg). Some-
times the drawer unit is hard to pull out of the
wall sleeve/slide into the wall sleeve.
● Use appropriate, certified climbing aids
(ladders). Stability should be ensured, if
necessary have the ladders steadied by
a 2nd person.
● Ensure that you are standing securely and
cannot lose your balance and that there is
no one under the unit.
● When installing and removing the drawer
unit, support it from below with a hand.
CAUTION
!
Danger of injury from insects (wasps,
bees etc.) in the external cover or wall
sleeve.
● Watch out for small animals when remov-
ing the drawer unit.
● Recommendation: Use units in continuous
operation.

10.2 Changing air filters
Change the air filters when the filter
change indicator
appears – after 4,000
operating hours/approx. 6 months. Always
replace both air filters on each ventilation unit.
