Positioning the logs

Position the logs as follows:
• Lay the large log against the back wall.
• Fill the burner with vermiculite.
• Make sure that no vermiculite gets on or into the pilot
light burner, as this could prevent it from working properly.
• Sprinkle the chips on top of the vermiculite and on the
tray surrounding the burner tray.
• Now lay the rest of the logs in place as illustrated in fig. 9.
Do not use any materials other than those supplied.The
supplied materials are incombustible and have been
manufactured specifically for this appliance.

Fitting the glass panel

Scenic/Scenic SL
Once the logs have been positioned, the glass panes can be
replaced.
• Fit the side panes into the retaining strips.
• Fix the strips with the screws.
• Fit the front pane into the retaining strip.
• Make sure that the panes join neatly in the corner.
• Fix the retaining strip.
For safety reasons a guard should be placed in
front of the fire at all times.

Mounting the front panel

The coloured frame is packed separately to the basic set.
Hang the hooks of the front panel onto the combustion
chamber and press it onto the magnets.

Remote control

Remote control is supplied as a standard accessory.The
heater has a freely adjustable. Batteries, with a life expectancy
of approximately one year, feed the electrical supply.The
remote control will only work if the pilot light is lit.
