Changement d'aiguille
ATTENTION : Eteignez tout d'abord l'interrup-
teur (en le plaçant sur « O »).
Changez régulièrement l'aiguille, surtout si elle est usée
et cause des problèmes.
Installez l'aiguille comme indiqué sur les illustrations
suivantes.
A Dévissez la vis de fixation située sur la tige
de l'aiguille.
B Placez la partie plate de l'aiguille vers l'arrière et
enfilez l'aiguille de bas en haut jusqu'à la butée.
Resserrez la vis de fixation située sur la tige de l'aiguille
après avoir mis en place la nouvelle aiguille.
N'utilisez que des aiguilles irréprochables.
Des problèmes peuvent surgir en cas d'utilisation :
1 D'aiguilles tordues
2 D'aiguilles usées
3 De pointes endommagées
Soulever et abaisser
le transporteur
Poussez le bouton sur
(b) et le transporteur

s'abaisse, par exemple pour coudre des boutons.
Repoussez le bouton sur
▲▲
(a) et le transporteur se
soulève à nouveau et est prêt pour coudre normalement.
Tournez complètement le volant pour soulever le
transporteur. Le transporteur ne peut pas être soulevé
si le volant ne tourne pas, même si le bouton est sur la
position

(a).

Feed Dogs
Replacing the needle
ATTENTION: Turn power switch of off („O") po-
sition when carrying out any of the operations
shown below.
Change the needle regularly, especially if it is showing
signs of wear and causing problems.
Insert the needle following the illustrated instructions.
A Loosen the needle clamp screw.
B The flat side of the shaft should be towards the back.
Insert the needle as far up as it will go.
Tighten again the needle clamp screw after inserting the
new needle.
Needles must be in perfect condition.
Problems can occur with:
1 Bent needles
2 Blunt needles
3 Damaged points
Raise or lower the feed dogs
Sliding the lever to the
(b) will lower the feed dog,

for example during button sewing. If you wish to contin-
ue sewing normally, slide the lever to
to raise the feed dogs.
Make a complete turn (one full revolution of the
handwheel) to raise the feed dogs. The feed dogs will
not raise up if you do not turn the handwheel, even if the
lever is slid to the right
(a).

Naaldwissel /
transporteur
Naald wisselen
LET OP: Hoofdschakelaar uitzetten (op "O"
zetten).
Regelmatig de naald vervangen, zeker als de naald veel
is gebruikt en problemen veroorzaakt.
Plaats de naald zoals weergegeven in de volgende
afbeeldingen.
A Schroef op de naaldstang losdraaien.
B De platte kant van de naald naar achteren richten en
de naald van onderen tot aan de aanslag
inschuiven.
Draai na het plaatsen van de nieuwe naald de schroef
van de naaldstang weer vast.
Gebruik alleen de juiste naalden.
Er kunnen problemen optreden bij het gebruik van:
1 Kromme naalden
2 Stompe naalden
3 Beschadigde punten
Transporteur omhoog
en omlaag zetten

(a) in order
Schakelaar op
bijvoorbeeld om knopen aan te naaien. Hendel weer
op
(a) zetten en de transporteur is weer omhoog
▲▲
gezet en klaar om normaal te naaien.
Handwiel eenmaal helemaal omdraaien om de trans-
porteur omhoog te zetten. De transporteur wordt niet
omhoog gezet als het handwiel niet wordt verdraaid, ook
als de hendel op
(b) zetten en de transporteur daalt,

(a) wordt gezet.
