WARNING!
Risk of entrapment and crushing of the fingers

– Proceed with caution when carrying out
any work in the area of the shear arms in
connection with the lifting mechanism.
IMPORTANT!
– Replace the circlips F every time a repair is
carried out.
– Replace the bolts C and locking bolts E
every time a repair is carried out.
Removal
1. Retract the drive completely and remove the backrest
support.
2. Press down on the red latch to deploy the shear arms.
3. Break off the pins on locking bolts E below from
inside using a slot headed screwdriver, push out the
bolts and remove them.
ORCA XL:
Remove the circlips F from the steel bolts E, push
out the steel bolts and remove them.
4. Remove the base plate from the shear arms .

5. Break off the pins for gliding shoes C below from
inside using a slot headed screwdriver, push out the
bolts and remove them.
6. Break off the pins for gliding shoes C above, which
connect the front shear arms to the seat plate.
7. Break off the pins of locking bolts E above, which
connect the rear shear arms to the seat plate, from
outside using a slot headed screwdriver; push in the
locking bolts and remove them.
ORCA XL:
Remove the circlips F from the steel bolts E, push in
the steel bolts and remove them.
Fitting
1. The shear arms are mounted on the seat plate and
base plate in reverse order to disassembly.
