Assembly instructions of the cabinet in ice cream finishing.
-
Position the superstructure on the working shelf. Fasten the uprights with the screws provided, inserting them in the
holes drilled (SEQUENCE A, FIG. 7 page 2). Be careful not to touch the supply cable, but pull it slowly during the
positioning of the superstructure on the lower part of the cabinet.
-
Assemble the side glasses (SEQUENCE A, FIG. 8 page 2) keeping the serigraphy on the external side of the cabinet.
Insert the cables in their housing on the end panel (SEQUENCE B FIG. 8 page 2). Then connect the cables under the
counter.
-
Insert the side uprights in the end wall (SEQUENCE A FIG. 9 page 2) by screwing them in the lower and in the upper
part from inside the lighting canopy (SEQUENCE B FIG. 9 page 2).
-
Assemble the front decoration trim as per FIG. 10 page 3. Please refer to the holes drilled on it. (This is the last thing
to do if the cabinets are multiplexed).
-
Insert the curved front glass, after having positioned the transparent plastic gasket, centering it accurately on the
aluminum profile and fasten it by tightening the dowels with a hexagonal wrench (FIG. 11 page 3). Then connect the
cables under the counter.
-
Assemble the bottom panel on the service side as per FIG. 12 page 3. Then adjust the plastic covers on the screws.
(This is the last thing to do if the cabinets are multiplexed).
-
Assemble the top glass shelf with the painted part inside the cabinet. Then assemble the intermediate glass shelf
FIG. 13 page 3. (This is the last thing to do if the cabinets are multiplexed).
Important: the interior surfaces (bottom shelves, air intake and delivery strips, etc.) as well as the external surfaces (front
part, working shelf in stainless steel, basin, etc.) are covered with a protective film that has to be removed before starting
to use the cabinet.
6 - Electric connection
Electrical connections must be handled by qualified personnel only, according to current laws. For the connections please
refer to enclosed electrical diagrams at page 8 - 9.
At the input of the supply it is necessary to install an omni-polar magnetothermic/differential device with contact opening
equal to 3 mm and adequate cutoff power.
Important: Before connecting the cabinet to the power mains make sure the supply voltage corresponds to the rating on
the serial number plate (consider that the maximum voltage variations admissible are +/- 10 %). Make sure the electric
connection is made with cables of a diameter and length capable of withstanding the power and current absorbed by the
display cabinet (TAB. 2 page 4).
The plug-in cabinets Dorado Pastry are supplied already fitted with a cable m. 2,5 long and a plug (FIG. 14 page 4). The
plug has to be inserted into a fix socket, without using further extension, multiple outlet or longer cables.
The plug-in cabinets Dorado Ice-cream are are supplied already fitted with a cable m. 2,5 long without plug. Therefore it
is necessary to have an industrial plug (according to standard IEC309 for 16 A) assembled on the supplied cable by
qualified personnel. Then plug into an industrial socket (according to standard IEC309 for 16 A) without using any further
extension, multiple outlet or longer cables.
The cable should be fully extended in a safe position away from possible impact and at a distance from liquids or water
and heat sources. In case of breakage of the power cable of the cabinet, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by
institution in charge of it. The plug should be accessible even after the installation of the cabinet.
Important: following the manufacturer's instructions, the installation should be made by qualified personnel, in conformity
with the electric safety regulations in force in the country where the cabinet is installed (electric safety regulations and
laws, accident prevention laws, fire prevention regulations, directives). An improper installation can cause damage to
people, animals or objects, for which the manufacturer has no liability.
Always ground the cabinet.
The manufacturer is not liable for any injuries caused by failure to respect this regulation.
If there is no wall socket close to the place where the cabinet is to be installed, provide for connection in conformity with
the regulations in force. Do not use adapter plugs.
The manufacturer has no liability for any damage to personnel or property caused by improper installation.
7 - Technical features
The cabinet is supplied with a plastic bag containing this instructions manual that must be kept. It contains technical data,
wiring diagrams and tables concerning the cabinet.
The technical data are also shown on the rating plate (FIG. 15 page 4). It indicates:
1. Commercial name of the refrigerating display unit
2. Refrigerating display unit code
3. Refrigerating display unit serial number
4. Rating
5. Frequency
6. Max absorbed current
7. Max absorbed power
8. Max absorbed power during defrosting
9. Standard lighting power
10. Net display area
11. Type of cooling gas used
12. Weight of cooling gas loaded in each unit
