9. Inserting the Flight Battery

To insert the battery, the model must be turned on its back.
The battery compartment lid (1) is held by the motor hood (2) in the front area. In
the rear area, the lid is secured by a latch (3).
Push the latch all the way to the front and lift the lid at the rear edge. Then you can
pull out the lid backwards under the motor hood.
Put the flight battery (4) onto the battery board with hook-and-loop tape (also see
figure 20) and secure the battery with hook-and-loop binder.
Then put on the battery compartment lid again and let the lock latch.
