j) Installing the Motor
Place the cross-shaped motor carrier (1) onto the motor mounting plate and check
the screw holes (2) or draw the required holes. The screw holes must be reinforced
with liquid superglue after pre-drilling.
Connect the motor carrier to the motor and screw on the unit with four 3 x 10 mm
screws. The three motor connection cables are guided inside the model through
the triangular opening (3) in the motor mounting plate.
k) Speed Controller and Battery Installation
Glue the hooked part (1) of the included hook-and-loop tape onto the battery
support. The loop part of the hook-and-loop tape is glued to the flight battery.
The hook-and-loop binder (2) is an additional holder to securely keep the flight
battery in position.
Solder the high-voltage plug (3) to match the battery to the speed controller (4)
and connect the speed controller to the three motor connection cables. To attach
the speed controller to the side of the fuselage, we recommend double-sided
adhesive tape (5) or hook-and-loop tape.
