l) Mounting the Receiver
The receiver (1) is glued to the bottom of the cockpit tub with double-sided adhesive
tape.
When using a 4-channels receiver, the two aileron servo connection cables must
be connected with a V-cable.
m) Mounting the Motor Hood
First cut the two motor hood parts (1 and 2) out cleanly along the drawn edges.
Then joint the parts "dry" and fasten the seams with adhesive tape (3) from the
outside.
Now let liquid superglue run into the seams from the inside of the motor hood.
After the glue cures, the adhesive tape can be removed.
Push the motor hood onto the model and mount the spinner plate (4) and the
propeller (5). The cover plate for the battery compartment (6) must be put on and
locked (also see figure 26).
Adjust the motor hood so that it is aligned centrally and that there is a gap of
1 - 2 mm between the motor hood and spinner plate.
Fasten the motor hood in thi8s position with adhesive tape and draw the two
drilling hopes (7) for the countersunk screws on the right and left. After pre-drilling,
the motor hood must be removed again and the bores in the fuselage reinforced
with superglue.
After the motor hood is installed again, the propeller can be installed with spinner
plate and spinner (8).
Practical advice:
We recommend to initially secure the motor hood with adhesive tape
on the side and top (figure 22, item 9).
Only when the motor inclination and side pull have shown to match
during test flights should be motor hood be screwed to the model in
the correct position.
