Selection of closing edge J3 / selection of photoelectric
sensor J4 (menu items 35 and 36)
1. Select menu 3 "Basic settings" in the control and go to
menu item 35 "Closing edge selection".
2. Select a value corresponding to the desired setting.
3. Confirm the entry and switch to menu item 36 "Photoelec-
tric sensor selection".
4. Select a value corresponding to the desired setting.
5. Confirm the entry to complete the setting process.
Switch-off position of pre-limit switch (menu item 37)
1. Select menu 3 "Basic settings" in the control and go to
menu item 37 "Correction of pre-limit switch closing edge
safety".

The preset value 25 blinks on the LED display.
2. Set the switch-off position so that a maximum distance of
50 mm to the ground contact is generated. Values between
0 and 99 are provided to you for this purpose. Values of
25 (default setting) to 0 correspond to 0 mm to approx.
-50 mm. Values from 25 to 99 correspond to 0 mm to ap-
prox. +100 mm.
3. Confirm the entry to complete the setting process.
Compliance with standard EN 12453
NOTICE
Check the switch-off position of the door after
every setting you have carried out. The switch-off
setting must correspond to a maximum distance
from the ground of 50 mm, otherwise compliance
with the standard EN 12453 is not ensured. This
might result in the loss of certification.
Menu 4 Further door settings
Duty cycle (menu item 49)
The duty cycle set prevents the drive motor from being over-
heated and avoids damage.
Motor 5.24 with a plastic gearbox
NOTICE
When motor 5.24 with a plastic gearbox is used,
the duty cycle must be set to the value 1 (3~) or
2 (WS, 1~).
Menu 5 Various settings
Smoke and heat extraction function (menu item 55)
Select the corresponding door position in menu item 55. Connect
the fire alarm system to J7 and select the value 10/11 in menu
item 50.
Wireless closing edge RSE (menu items 53, 58)
The RSE system replaces the coiled cable to the door leaf and
transmits information from the safety sensors on the door leaf via
radio. The system is in accordance with PLc in compliance with
EN 13849-1.
Please proceed as follows to commission the RSE system:
1. Insert the module into slot J14 of the control unit and fasten
it with 2 screws.
2. In menu item 53, select value 5 "RSE – System OSE" or
value 6 "RSE – System 8k2".
3. Select the type of the wicket door in menu item 58. "EN-
S68xx" (value 1) is preselected as a default value.
Pairing of RSE-T and RSE-R
1. Briefly actuate the button on the RSE-R module so that a
short beep is emitted.
2. Press the button in the door connection box of the RSE-T
module.
ð The RSE-R emits a long beep sound for confirmation.
3. Then briefly actuate the button on the RSE-R module to
complete the pairing process.

Unpairing of RSE-T and RSE-R

By unpairing the RSE-T and RSE-R, the safety
sensors are inoperative.
• Repair the RSE-T and RSE-R again or
make sure that the RSE system is replaced
by a coiled cable.

The RSE-R emits several rapid beep sounds.
ð The drive confirms pairing by the decimal point flashing
for 5 times.
Menu 6 Radio settings
Programming the hand-held radio transmitter
Please observe that every hand-held transmitter must be pro-
grammed individually. You are provided with the possibility of pro-
gramming 30 radio channels.
The following encryption types can be programmed: KeeLoq,
12 Bit, Multibit. The first code programmed determines the en-
cryption type. KeeLoqClassic and KeeLoqAES can be used in
parallel. A start command of a KeeLoq hand-held transmitter is
only accepted in the mode in which it has previously been pro-
grammed.
Start pulse (menu item 60)
1. Select "Program hand-held transmitter start button" in menu
item 60.
2. Actuate the button of the hand-held transmitter for opening
the door.
ð When the code has been programmed, the dot display
on the LED display blinks 5 times.
3. Go to Exit to complete the setting process.
½ door opening (menu item 61)
1. Select "Program hand-held transmitter 1/2 button" in menu
item 61.
2. Actuate the button of the hand-held transmitter for the
½ door opening.

When the code has been programmed, the dot display
on the display blinks 5 times.

Light function (menu item 62)
Select menu item 62 and actuate the light function button of the
hand-held transmitter. When the code has been programmed, the
dot display on the display blinks 5 times.
Deleting radio codes (menu item 63)
To delete all codes programmed, proceed as follows:
1. Select menu item 63.

Selecting the hand-held transmitter operating mode (menu
item 64)
In menu item 64 you can temporarily disable the taught-in hand-
held transmitters and select the desired operating mode for the
start button.
