Permanent installation of telephone wiring
If the telephone cable is not long enough or if a hard-wired connection is to
be set up, the device may be connected directly to a telephone connection
unit on a permanent basis as illustrated below.

Final work for the telephone connection
Route the telephone cable inside the housing so that it is not pinched at any
point.
Plug the PSTN module back into the mainboard. Make sure that all pins are
properly inserted into the socket.
Make sure that the bottom of the plastic spacer adheres to the mainboard.

Wiring on the mainboard

Disconnect the device from the power before performing
wiring work or making changes to the wiring.

Caution
Operating voltage (+12V/0V)
Connect the "12 V" terminal to the positive terminal and the "0 V" terminal to
the negative terminal of the power supply.
As a voltage source,
use a voltage output of your alarm control panel
or
an external power supply unit (if the device is intended to be oper-
ated as a standalone device).
Pay attention in both cases to the amount of voltage and the current rating of
the voltage source.
The device requires a supply voltage of at least 10.5 V and
at most 24 V. The voltage source must be capable of carry-
ing at least 200 mA.

Caution
Inputs A–H (A-TRIG to H-TRIG)
Connect the inputs A–H with relay outputs of your alarm control panel, for
example. The possible variations are shown below.
