2 Product Description
• A tested emergency exit / panic locking system consists of the following
elements: locking unit, lock plate, door furniture set, profile cylinder, if
required.
• Function of the emergency exit / panic locking system:
a) Manual locking panicLock AP4
– Locking / unlocking by means of a key (approx. 90 ° key rotation), in each
case up to the stop, then the key pull (remove key)
– After locking, all hooks and the deadbolt are in extended position and
blocked
b) Automatic locking panicLock AV3 OR
– Automatic locking by closing the door with immediatly blocked security
hooks
• The locking elements can be opened by pushing handle according to EN
179 / bar handle according to EN 1125 with a handle in the direction of escape.
– Exception: panicLock AV3 OR may only be used in combination with
handle according to EN 179.
