5.7 Adjusting the Bowden cable for the wheel drive
(only for mowers with wheel drive)
Stop the motor, wait until the cutters stand still and
remove the spark plug connector, when working on
the mower. Danger of injury! (Fig. 42)
The Bowden cable needs to be adjusted if the rear wheels become
blocked when pulling backwards or if there is insufficient drive power.
1. Check to see if the Bowden cable is kinked or is too tight.

2. Undo the locking nut (1) and then turn the adjustment nut (2)
clockwise (+) by 1 - 3 turns (Fig. 43).
Drive power is insufficient:
2. Undo the locking nut (1) and then turn the adjustment nut (2)
counter-clockwise (-) by 1 - 3 turns (Fig. 43).
3. Check the setting.
4. Relock the locking nut (1) when the you have the optimum
setting.
Note: Contact your authorized TORO customer service if you
are unable to realize an optimum setting by following these
adjustment procedures.
5.8 Adjusting the Bowden cable for the motor start/stop
The Bowden cable for the motor start/stop may only
be adjusted or exchanged in an authorised TORO
service station.
5.9 Storing the mower
Remove the spark plug connector. Clean the mower.
Check all bolts, screws and nuts. Replace damaged parts.
Use only original TORO spare parts resp. go to a specialized
TORO-dealer.
Before longer storage, empty fuel tank and let the motor run to
fully consume all the fuel.
Store the mower in a clean, dry place.
The handlebar may be folded down for this purpose (Fig. 44).
Only for mowers with electric start:
For storage, take the battery off the mower and storage in a frost-
free enviroment. Before re-assembling, charge battery (fig. 45).
Note: The adjustment that you have chosen will become perma-
nent if the linear cutting height adjustor is not used for a long
period of time. This fixed position can be released by pressing the
cutting height adjustment button several times (fig.1, Pos. 3).
5.7 Ajustage du câble Bowden pour accionnement des
roues
(seul tondeuses avec accionnement des roues)
Débrayez le moteur pour tous les travaux à la tondeuse.
Attendez l´arrêt de la lame et enlevez le fil de bougie
d´allumage. Danger de blessure! (Illustration 42)
Ajustez le câble Bowden si les roues arrières se bloquent en tirant
la tondeuse vers l'arrière ou si le moteur perd de puissance.
1. Contrôlez si le câble est plié ou glisse difficilement.
Bloquage des roues arrières:
2. Dévissez l'écrou de fixation (1) et tournez l'écrou
d'ajustage (2) 1-3 fois dans le sens des aiguilles d'une
montre (+) (Illustration 43).
Perte de puissance du moteur:
2. Dévissez l'écrou de fixation (1) et tournez l'écrou d'ajustage (2)
1-3 fois en sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre (-)
(Illustration 43).
3. Vérifiez l'ajustage.
4. Si le câble est ajusté correctement, serrez l'écrou de fixation.
Remarque: Si le câble ne peut pas être ajusté correctement de
cette manière, addressez-vous à un agent agréé TORO.
5.8 Ajustage du câble Bowden pour moteur marche/arrêt
Pour l'ajustage ou le remplacement du câble Bowden
pour moteur marche/arrêt il faut s'addresser à un agent
agréé TORO.
5.9 Stockage de la tondeuse
Enlevez le fil de bougie d´allumage. Nettoyez la tondeuse à gazon.
Inspectez tous les boulons et écrous et toutes les vis.
Remplacez les pièces endommagées.
Utilisez seulement les pièces de rechange d´origine TORO ou
addressez-vous à un agent agréé.
Videz le réservoir d'essence et laissez le moteur marcher pour que
l'essence entière soit consumée avant le stockage.
Mettez la tondeuse à un endroit sec et propre.
Pour faire cela, le mancheron peut être replié (Illustration 44).
Uniquement pour les tondeuses avec démarreur électrique:
Pour le stockage, enlever la batterie et la stocker dans un endroit
sec, à l'abri du gel. Charger la batterie avant de la remonter (Illustrati-
on 45).
Remarque : Dans le cas d'un non actionnement prolongé du
réglage de hauteur de coupe sans intervalles, le réglage choisi
sera bloqué de manière durable. Ce blocage pourra être déver-
rouillé en actionnant plusieurs fois la touche de réglage de la
hauteur de coupe (illustration 1, pos. 3).
5.7 Bowdenkabel instellen voor de wielaandrijving
(alleen bij maaiers met wielaandrijving)
Bij alle werkzaamheden aan de gazonmaaier de
motor uitzetten,
Wachten tot de messen stilstaan, bougiestekker eraf
trekken. Gevaar voor verwondingen! (afb. 42)
De bowdenkabel moet worden justeerd als de achterwielen bij het
terugtrekken blokkeren of bij onvoldoende aandrijfvermogen.
1. Controleert u of de bowdenkabel geknikt of zwaarlopend is.
Achterwielen blokkeren bij het terugtrekken:
2. Grendelmoer (1) losmaken en instelmoer (2) 1-3 omwentelin-
gen in richting van de wijzers van de klok (+) draaien (afb. 43).
Aandrijfvermogen is onvoldoende:
2. Grendelmoer (1) losmaken en instelmoer (2) 1-3 omwentelin-
gen tegen de richting van de wijzers van de klok (-) draaien
(afb. 43).
3. Instelling controleren.
4. Bij optimale instelling de grendelmoer (1) vasttrekken.
Attentie: Als door deze instelmaatregelen geen optimale
instelling kan worden behaalt, dient een geautoriseerde
TORO-garage te worden opgezocht.
5.8 Bowdenkabel instellen voor de motor-Start/Stop
De bowdenkabel voor de motor-Start/Stop mag alleen
in een geautoriseerde TORO-klantenservice worden
ingesteld of vervangen.
5.9 Maaimachine bewaren
Bougiestekker eraf trekken. Maaimachine reinigen.
Alle bouten, schroeven en moeren controleren.
Beschadigde delen vervangen.
Uitsluitend originele TORO-reserveonderdelen gebruiken resp.
gekwalificeerde TORO-vakhandel opzoeken.
Alvorens hem op te bergen eerst de brandstoftank leegmaken en
de motor laten lopen zodat alle brandstof opgebruikt wordt.
Maaimachine op een schone, droge plaats bewaren.
De duwstang kan hiervoor worden omgeklapt (afb. 44).
Alleen bij machines met elektrische startinrichting:
Voordat u de machine opbergt, de akku uitnemen en bewaren in een
droge, vorstvrije ruimte. Voor de ingebruikname de akku laden (afb.
45).
Opmerking: bij een langer niet-bedienen van de traploze
snijhoogte-verstelling wordt de gekozen instellingen blijvend
gefixeerd. Deze fixatie kan door herhaaldelijk bedienen van de
snijhoogte-versteltoets (afb. 1, pos. 3) worden losgemaakt.
