When mowing in high grass, you should select a higher cutting
adjustment first. Then mow with the usual adjustment.
Lumpy grass and chockings inside the mowing channel effect a
throttling or stop of the motor. In such cases, you should mow at
least one step higher.
Should the motor have stopped due to the conditions inside the
mower housing and block when restarting, it is absolutely
necessary to clear the mowing tunnel from grass rests (Fig. 23).
To clean the mower, remove the spark plug connec-
tor.
Change the mowing direction frequently (Fig. 24).
In case of an unsatisfactory mowing result:
1. Resharpen the cutters (Ensure not to create an unbalance).
2. Mow at a slower pace.
3. Increase the cutting height by one or two steps.
4. Mow your lawn in shorter intervals.
5. Mow only 2/3 or half the mowing width, in order to give the
mower the opportunity of self-cleaning.
4.3 Mowing with the grass-collecting device
Never remove the grass-collecting device while the
motor is running - danger of injury!
1. Ensure that the motor and the cutter stand still !
2. Clean the grass ejection area from grass rests (fig. 23).
3. Attach grass box witch latches on the handle (fig. 25).
4. Close the ejection door up to the grass-collecting device and
lock it.
To empty the grass-collecting device, turn the motor off and
wait until the cutter stands still.
Disconnect the spark plug connector when leaving the
mower.
Remove the grass-collecting device and tilt it a bit to the back so
that no grass will fall out.
Dump the full grass-collecting device by shaking it slightly
(fig. 26).
En tondant du gazon long, choisissez d´abord une hauteur de
coupe plus haute. A la suite, tondez avec la hauteur standard.
Des tas d´herbes et un bourrage du canal d´éjection conduisent
au ralentissement ou à l´arrêt du moteur. En ce cas, tondez au
minimum dans une position plus haute.
Si le moteur s´est arrêté à cause des conditions dans le carter de
la tondeuse et s´il bloque au redémarrage, il est absolument
nécessaire d´enlever l´herbe accumulée dans le canal d´éjection
(Illustration 23).
Débrayez le moteur et enlevez le fil de bougie
d´allumage pour nettoyer la tondeuse à gazon.
Danger de blessure !
Changez régulièrement le sens de tonte (Illustration 24).
Si la tonte n´est pas satisfaisante:
1. Aiguisez la lame (il ne faut pas créer de balourd).
2. Tondez plus doucement.
3. Augmentez la hauteur d´une ou deux positions.
4. Tondez le gazon plus régulièrement.
5. Seulement tondre deux tiers ou la moitié de la largeur pour
donner la possibilité d´autonettoyage à la tondeuse à gazon.
4.3 Tonte avec le collecteur d´herbes
N´enlevez jamais le collecteur d´herbes avec le
moteur en marche - danger de blessure!
1. Assurez-vous que le moteur et la lame ne tournent plus !
2. Nettoyez la zone de sortie d´herbes (Illustration 23).
3. Fixer le collecteur d'herbes aux fixations se trouvant sur le
mancheron. (Illustration 25).
4. Refermez le clapet de sortie sur le collecteur d´herbes et
arretez.
Arrêtez le moteur et attendez l´arrêt de la lame avant de vider
le collecteur d´herbes.
Enlevez le fil de bougie d´allumage, si vous vous éloignez de
la tondeuse.
Enlevez le collecteur d´herbes et inclinez un peu vers l´arrière
pour que les herbes ne tombent pas.
Videz le collecteur d´herbes plein en le secouant un peu
(Illustration 26).
Bij het maaien van hoog gras dient men eerst een hogere
maaistand te kiezen. Daarna op de normale instelling maaien.
Klonterend gras en verstopping van het maaikanaal leiden tot
verlaging van het motortoerental of tot stilstand van de motor.
Maai in dergelijke gevallen tenminste 1 stand hoger.
Mocht de motor door omstandigheden in de maaimachine tot
stilstand zijn gekomen en bij het opnieuw inschakelen blokkeren,
dan is het absoluut noodzakelijk de maaimachinetunnel van
grasresten te ontdoen (afb. 23).
Bij reinigingswerkzaamheden aan de maaimachine de
motor uitzetten, afwachten totdat het mes stilstaat en
bougiestekker eraf trekken. Gevaar voor letsel!
Maairichting regelmatig veranderen (afb. 24).
Als het maaipatroon niet in orde is:
1. Mes slijpen (er mag geen onbalans ontstaan)
2. Langzamer maaien.
3. Maaihoogte een of twee standen verhogen.
4. Gazon in kortere intervallen maaien.
5. Slechts 2/3 of de halve maaibreedte maaien om de maaima-
chine de mogelijkheid te gaven zichzelf te reinigen.
4.3 Maaien met grasopvangzak
De grasopvangzak nooit verwijderen terwijl de motor
loopt - gevaar voor letsel!
1. Overtuigt u zich ervan dat de motor en het mes stilstaan !
2. Grasuitwerpgedeelte van grasresten ontdoen (afb. 23).
3. Grasopvangbak met de bevestigingpunten aan de stuurboom
hangen (afb. 25).
4. Uitwerpklep tot aan de grasopvangzak sluiten en slot.
Voor het leegmaken van de grasopvangzak de motor
uitzetten en wachten tot het mes stilstaat.
Bij het verlaten van de maaimachine bougiestekker eraf
trekken.
De grasopvangzak verwijderen en enigszins naar achteren
kantelen zodat er geen gras uitvalt.
De volle grasopvangzak door licht te schudden leegmaken
