FUSE REPLACEMENT

1.
Engage the parking brake (7, Fig. E).
2.
Turn the ignition key (17, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.
3.
To disconnect the battery (18, Fig. E), turn the key of the release device (37, Fig. E) and then remove it.
4.
Remove the transparent cover of the fuse box (24 or 25, Fig. D) and replace the relevant fuse among those described in the
Electrical Fuses paragraph.
5.
Install the transparent cover of the fuse box (24 or 25, Fig. D).
6.
Remove the 2 screws and open the cab left door (19, Fig. E).
7.
Remove the fuse box cover (36, Fig. E) and replace the relevant fuse among those described in the Electrical Fuses
paragraph.
8.
Install the fuse box cover (36, Fig. E) and close the left door (19, Fig. E).
9.
Install the battery (18, Fig. E) by installing and turning the key of the release device (37, Fig. E).
WARNING!
To switch the release device key position, fi rst press and turn the key.

WINTER MAINTENANCE

In winter, perform the following maintenance procedures carefully.
Procedures for machine storage or for machines working at less than 0 °C
1.
Drain the nozzles and water tanks.
2.
Drain and clean/replace the water fi lter.
3.
Pour antifreeze in the water tanks (check the quantity).
4.
Turn on the water pump (see the procedure in the relevant paragraphs) to let the antifreeze fl ow through the system until it
comes out from the broom nozzles, from the suction hose nozzle and from the rear pipe nozzle (if equipped).
When the antifreeze comes out from the nozzles, stop the pump.
5.
Start the diesel engine as shown in the relevant paragraph.
6.
Turn on the high-pressure washing system pump (see the procedure in the relevant paragraphs) and let the antifreeze fl ow
through the high-pressure washing system until it comes out of the water gun.
When the antifreeze comes out, stop the pump.
WARNING!
Do not use the dust control system when the outside temperature is lower than 0 °C because it can create ice
sheets on the pavement.
Procedures to perform when the machine has been stored for two months
1.
Replace the engine oil and oil fi lter (see the relevant paragraphs).
2.
Fill the fuel tank (see the relevant paragraph).
3.
Apply grease.
4.
Charge the battery.
5.
Check the wheel pressure (see the relevant paragraph).
Procedures to perform when the machine has been stored for three months
1.
Perform the same procedures of the second month.
2.
Each month connect a battery charger and keep the battery charged for 12/24 hours.
