TROUBLESHOOTING

The following table shows the most common problems that may arise when using the machine, the possible causes and the
suggested remedies to solve them.
NOTE
The sweeper is equipped with 3 "minitest" plugs (1, 2 and 3, Fig. AR) to measure the hydraulic pressure on the
component.
WARNING!
The suggested remedies must be performed by qualifi ed personnel, according to the instructions shown in
this Manual, if present, otherwise contact a Advance Service Center, where it is possible to consult the Service
Manual.

PROBLEMS AND REMEDIES

Problem
General electric problem
When the key is turned to ON, the machine is
not powered
Brooms
The brooms do not clean properly
The brooms do not rotate
Suction fan
The suction fan is noisy
The suction fan turns but it is not effi cient
The suction fan does not turn
Suction inlet and skirt
The suction inlet does not collect debris ef-
fi ciently
The suction inlet does not lift
The suction inlet does not lower
The skirt opening force is not suffi cient
The skirt does not open/close
Possible cause
The battery is disconnected
The emergency push-button is activated/discon-
nected
The K2 line electromagnetic switch is discon-
nected/faulty
The F2.7 fuse is open
The F1.2 line fuse is open
The ignition switch is damaged/disconnected
The brooms are not properly adjusted
The broom speed is not correct
There are oil leaks from the hydraulic system
fi ttings/hoses
The motor is faulty
The accessory system pump does not pressurize
the oil in the circuit
The motor is faulty
The dust fi lters are clogged
The suction pipe is clogged
The suction pipe is cut/torn
The gasket between the suction inlet and the hop-
per is broken or misadjusted (replace or adjust)
There is no pressure at the suction system motor
The distributor is stuck
The motor is faulty
Pump failure
The suction fan is not engaged
The suction inlet position is incorrect
The distributor is stuck
The cylinder gaskets are worn
There is no pressure at the hydraulic system
