4. Setting POWER ON START

This function sets the operation to be performed when power
is turned ON.
On the ADV. SETUP menu, when [POWER ON START] is
set to any status other than [OFF], and the ENTER button is
pressed, the following menu will appear; use the cursor but-
tons (», «) to select item [1], [2], or [3], then press the EN-
TER button.
1. TOP MENU
When power is turned ON, playback automatically starts from
the disc's top menu. Using the cursor up/down buttons (»,
«), select [1] and press the ENTER button. When the [=>
SET ENTER] message flashes; press the ENTER button once
again to confirm the selection. If the loaded disc has no top
menu, the disc playback will stop.
When this is done, the [ENTER] icon on the main unit's
display will flash as shown below.
2. TITLE
When power is turned ON, the player searches for the desig-
nated title and chapter and begins playback there. Using the
cursor up/down buttons (», «), select [2], then press the EN-
TER button. When the following menu appears, use the
number buttons or cursor up/down buttons (», «) and the
ENTER button to set the desired title and chapter.

When this is done, the main unit's display will appear as
shown below. First the [TITLE] will appear, and when
the ENTER button is used to confirm the selection, the
[CHAPTER] will appear.

3. COMMAND STACK
When power is turned ON, the COMMAND STACK is called
and playback begins automatically. Using the cursor up/down
buttons (», «), select [3], then press the ENTER button. When
the following menu appears, use the number buttons or the
cursor up/down buttons (», «) to designate the COMMAND
STACK group, then press the ENTER button to confirm the
selection.
When this is done, the main unit's display will appear as
shown below.
Important
The selected COMMAND STACK will be automatically re-
peated at time of playback.
Note
POWER ON START can be set by using either the remote
control unit or the mouse.
¶ When the mouse cursor (hand pointer
an item, clicking the left mouse button allows the selec-
tion or setting to be changed.
¶ Numbers are incremented by 1 each time the left mouse
button is clicked, and decremented by 1 with each click of
the right mouse button.
¶ With the cursor over [ENTER], press the left mouse but-
ton to validate the selected values.
¶ With the cursor over [RETURN], press the left mouse but-
ton to return the previous mode. Previously entered val-
ues will be reset.
