16. SETTINGS

Here, you can enter the time, date, operating mode ("On" or "Auto"), and the signal encoder ("On" or "Off").
To make this setting, push the Menu button (3); then use the navigation buttons "r" and "s" (2) to select the
symbol for the settings (screwdriver/clock symbol and time appear in the display).
Push the "OK" button (4) to select the different setting options. After the "OK" button (4) is pushed, the screwdriver
starts flashing. Use the navigation buttons "r" and "s" (2) to call the different submenus.
a) Setting Time and Date
Observe that the time and date cannot be set while a measurement is running, since the time stamp is saved
along with each measurement.
If you have not entered date and time at initial commissioning, you can do so here subsequently at any time.
The hours are displayed in the 24 hour format. Push the "OK" button (4) again. Now the hours display flashes and
can be set with the navigation buttons "r" and "s" (2) (for quick adjustment, keep the respective button pushed for
longer) and confirmed with the "OK" button (4).
Then the minutes display flashes. The minutes and then the seconds are set accordingly with the navigation buttons
"r" and "s" (2) and confirmed with the "OK" button (4).
After confirmation of the seconds, only the screwdriver symbol will flash in the display. The navigation button "r"
will display the date symbol instead of the clock symbol.
Now the date can be set (in the period from 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2099).
Push "OK" (4). Now the display for the day starts to flash. Use the navigation buttons "r" and "s" (2) to set the
values and confirm with the "OK" button (4). Keep the respective navigation button pressed for quick adjustment.

Wrong inputs of the date are corrected automatically; e.g. if 31 February is entered, it is automatically
changed to 28 or 29 February.
