17. PC-SOFTWARE

The Geiger counter "Gamma Check Pro" can be connected to a PC via the mini USB connection at any time. Here,
you can control the device, read the saved data or get a live recording/display. The operating instructions for this will
be provided with the download of the free PC software.
The PC software can be found under www.conrad.com on the website for the product.
If a USB connection is present, the USB symbol is displayed. The rechargeable battery is charged automatically
here.

18. TROUBLESHOOTING

No function or no display
• Is the rechargeable battery properly inserted? Observe the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-).
• Did you remove the plastic insulation strip between the rechargeable battery and the rechargeable battery com-
partment at first commissioning? The plastic insulation strip is used to prevent premature discharge.
• Is the rechargeable battery flat? Recharge the rechargeable battery.
Device does not react to pushing a button
• Open the rechargeable battery compartment and remove the rechargeable battery. Wait for a minute and insert
the rechargeable battery again in the proper polarity.

19. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The product is maintenance-free for you. Never disassemble it (except for insertion or replacing of the rechargeable
battery).
The product should only be repaired by a specialist or specialist workshop or it may be damaged. Furthermore, the
CE approval and the guarantee/warranty will expire.
Only clean the product with a soft, clean, dry and lint-free cloth. Never use any cleaning agents, since this might
damage the surface of the casing and label. Never push hard on the display. It may be damaged.
Dust can be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
