b) Setting Operating Mode
Here, the operating mode "Auto" or "On" can be selected.
In the operating mode "Auto", the device is switched off automatically after approx. 30 seconds. If measurements
are conducted, only the display will switch off in the operating mode "Auto". Pushing any button activates the display
again or switches the device on.
PWR
In operating mode "On", the device and the display remains permanently on during a measurement. After comple-
tion of all measurements, the device will switch to the operating mode "Auto" and switch off to save power. The
results of the last measurements are in the measured value storage and can be requested at any time.
c) Setting the Signal Encoder
The acoustic alarm is used to indicate limits being exceeded and pulses (ticks), to confirm when a button is pushed
and to report the end of a measurement.
Here, the installed signal encoder can be switched on or off; alarm sounds are always output for reasons of safety,
however. The signal encoder is deactivated at delivery.
To activate the signal encoder, push the "OK" button (4). The screwdriver icon in the display and the display "OFF"
flash. Push one of the navigation buttons "r" and "s" (2) so that "On" appears in the display. Confirm by pushing
the "OK" button (4).
The sound signals the "Gamma Check Pro" emits can be found in the table in chapter 9. e).
d) Data Logger
Here, the scan rate for saving the data is set, in the format HH:MM:SS (HH = hours, MM = minutes, SS = seconds.
Example: If you set "00:10:00", a measured value will be saved every 10 minutes. The shortest/fastest scan rate is
one second and the longest/slowest scan rate is 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
