1. Shorten the cable to approx. 5 cm after it has exited the bore hole of the
tube chassis of the System Hand (fig. 26). Separate the ends of the indi-
vidual strands of the cable, remove 2 mm of the insulation and tin (fig. 27).
2. Use the 711M12 Soldering Jig to solder on the plug. The marking in
Fig. 31 shows the position of the red strand of the hand cable.
3. Press in the control electronics, tighten the screws (fig. 17-15) and attach
the plug. Perform a function check. If necessary, reposition the 10V40
MyoWrist 2Act once again in relation to the 8E41 Ottobock System
Electric Hand (fig. 32).
